England could certainly lose to Colombia - in fact in one off games every match in the last 16 is competitive - but that doesn't change the fact that for England a match against Colombia with potentially another match against Sweden or Switzerland to get to the semi-final of the World Cup is a fantastic opportunity

Uruguay , Croatia , Portugal are better than England.

After that I suppose most people will say anyone can win it but thats nonsense in my opinion.Its like Liverpool vs Real madrid in the CL final. You marvel at Liverpools run and give them a chance but you kinda know Real are way better than them and will eventually win.

I hope they prove me wrong as I would like a different winner but I wouldnt be surprised if the winner comes from the half they have avoided. If Belgium beat Brazil then surely that will give their world cup campaign the legs to go all the way.

I think the semi final line up will be

Brazil vs Argentina
England vs Spain

I know south american teams dont normally win the world cup in europe but this Brazil team is balanced from goal keeper to the attackers and they have a player in Neymar who can make the difference on a difficult day

The best we can say is that there are much scarier teams left in the competition that we could meet in the next two rounds than Colombia, Sweden and Switzerland. Play each of them ten times and sometimes England would win. Reaching the semis is not unthinkable. Colombia will be a tough game if they turn up.

I think with a bit of luck England can reach final of World Cup or do one better and go on to win it.I still think there might be a new winner of World Cup like Croatia or Belgium or even Mexico with a lot of luck.Personally I want England to win but if not possible,I would prefer a surprise and a new team to win World Cup this time like Sweden or Croatia or even Belgium.Out of these three nations,I would prefer to see Sweden win if possible.

Or maybe the old horse, Uruguay to win their 3rd
