Marvel or DC?

but marvel has the better films. they have yet to make a bad one.

WB have fecked up the properties so many times its a travesty. Should sell.

Black Lightning on Netflix is quite poor as well

I always enjoyed Batman because he always had a darker tone, as I'm not always tuned into Marvel's story telling style, however I did enjoy all the early films when they first come out.

Christian Nolan smashed Batman and for me there hasn't few anything close to that trilogy and for that reason I'm not watching a lot of Super hero movies at present.

However I'm looking forward to Glass

I had no idea Split was the sequel to Unbreakable and that Glass was in production. Cool beans.

Hmmm the DC / Marvel debate !!

My two pence worth:

The animated Batmans, nothing comes close to how good these are from Marvel not even close.

On the big screen the same applies to Marvel, the $hit all over DC. I think this is because Marvel made them so bright colourful and witty, the casting has been superb for their characters also which has helped massively and they have tended to stick to the comics in terms of character (maybe not in terms of plots!)

I think DC just didnt want to be seen as trying to piggy back Marvel when it came to the films and tried to hard to be dark and Broody and whilst that worked for Batman it doesnt translate as well to the others in DC.

Also I frickin hate Superman, such a lazy superhero. What can he do .... everything, he can fly, super fast, super strong, x ray vision, freezing breath etc.. the only thing that he has a weakness to is radioactive rocks from his home planet... that was destroyed. No creativity at all which in turn makes it really difficult to become original in his writing. Oh and technically he aint a superhero (much like Thor) he is an alien he does not possess super human powers as he is not human.

the dark knght and burtons batmans are up there with anything marvel have done.

What makes Batman the stand out for me is that it's collection of villains surpasses any other comic/series.

Ultimately I just like good, entertaining movies and sadly the DC attempts have failed - despite having potentially the best cast Batman so far.

Funny you put Logan number 1, It is one of my least favourite Marvel films.
