It all seems to have gone a bit quiet on this, Manchester Evening news saying that while Man City would like Mahrez they're not desperate for him and will wait out until a figure is agreed that meets their thinking or will look to other targets.
A comment on RL the other evening suggested that Mahrez himself is delaying the transfer after demanding a massive Loyalty bonus.
I found this, looked initially like an Official Club site but is probably just a 'fans site' ?
If this is true it's disgraceful behaviour, either way, I, like many others just want him gone now and move on.

Seriously Nev - you think I dislike Mahrez because I don’t want us to pay him a loyalty bonus?
He either wants to stay at our club to earn his bonus or he wants to leave. I wish him well and hope he succeeds when he goes. I thank him for all he’s done for my club and being part of the greatest ever Leicester team.
Doesn’t mean I think he deserves a big pay off to go.

Looking for his extra bonus for making Leicester a great team,
So basically normal guff from the idle news sauces,,
