England finally win a penalty shoot out

Well, we finally did it. England really in total control until Colombia had their first corner, in which we cocked up.

Decent performance, but I don't want to see Stirling in an England shirt again. Plus what has Rashford got to do to start a game? Why Vardy came on instead of Rashford is mind boggling, but in the end we actually went through on a penalty shoot out.

Against Sweden, I hope Rashford starts and from a Wolves prospective, why on earth didn't we sign McGuire all those years ago. Not sure who was in charge at the time, but my guess was MM.

I don't have much confidence in Stones either and I think Cahill would be a better choice at CB.

So,onwards and upwards and who knows we could actually make it to the final.

The booze is flowing here in the Sunshine State.

I have a cricket match Saturday. There are communications ongoing between the two teams to start earlier, have an extended tea during the match and then finish later. Not sure what the league will make of that though.

I’m ‘on the lash’ Saturday, and will be in front of the big screen. Not that I particularly follow international football (lost interest in recent times) but any excuse to go ‘on the lash’ is welcomed

I'm helping out at a newly set up animal sanctuary on Saturday morning but you can bet I'll be back home by 3. After all as the old saying goes "Charity begins at home"

Through to the semis.

The Scots on 'ere are going to be raging for at least another four days.
