It was a good penalty matched by a good save. A shame that he was the one to fail from the spot but it didn’t cost England in the end. Had a good game otherwise.

After England's historic penalty shootout victory over Colombia in the FIFA World Cup last round of 16, news is starting to emerge from across the Atlantic ocean.

News outlets are reporting the reasons behind Jordan Henderson's missed penalty kick.

Dr Ross Zafonte who is a medical professional out of Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Boston and who is incidentally subcontracted as a consultant at Liverpool Football Club has spoken with Sky Sports sources late into the Russian night.

It is understood that Dr Ross Zafonte has lept to the defence of Jordan Henderson in the wake of his penalty shootout denial during an enthralling FIFA World Cup last 16 tie in Russia.

The medical man said of Jurgen Klopp's midfield lynchpin, "He suffered a mild concussion as a result of the Chest Butt".

This incident was inflicted upon him during a helter skelter first half where Colombia seemingly endulged in a series of incidents that can only be described as rough horseplay.

Dr Ross Zofante was also quoted as saying it was "possible" the injury "would affect performance".

This would certainly tie into the England supporters cries of "Crab" that echoed across the nation during the entirety of the 120 minutes of, nail biting knockout football.

Dr Ross Zofante came to this conclusion after extensive reviewing of "game film", a "telepathic examination", "objective metrics" & "Remote Probing".

Dr Zafonte finally went on to say Jordan Henderson had suffered from "visual spatial dysfunction", a process which hampers a person's ability to process visual information about where objects are in space, a further cruel side effect is, uncontrollable sideways movement.

The big question for England but more importantly for Liverpool fans is will their dreamboat be able to recover in time for the Quarter Final tie, on Saturday the 7th of July when England take on Sweden for a place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Semi Finals.
