Fred

Cannot even get into this Brazil team.

Would anyone like to guess how many minutes he's had in this WC?

This argument is like someone saying Icardi is poor as he cannot get into Argentine national team or Sane not getting into German national team or Zola not playing for Italy or Matt Le Tissier being poor for not playing much for English national team.Total nonsense!

Jonjo Shelvey couldn't get into the England squad.....oh wait!

It was bizarre the way Jesus kept getting picked over Firmino.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Its not really if you watched any of them over the last couple of years. It's mainly for the benefit of Neymar.

Both Neymar and Coutinho looked better everytime Firmino came on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So did Jesus. That’s more down to Willian.

Wouldn’t Neymar benefit more from Firmino than Jesus though? From what I’ve seen of both domestically Firmino is more productive at bringing in other into attacks.

Not really for Brazil. It’s also the work rate at the front that Tito likes.

Personally, I would have played both of them, thought Brazil looked best throughout when they were both on the pitch.

Isn’t Firmino’s best attribute arguably his work rate though? He works tirelessly to bring other into the game and is incredibly selfless. Jesus isn’t bad but I’ve never considered his workrate on a par with Firmino’s. Aren’t they also both best centrally, so I’m not too sure how well they’d be as a central pair unless you’re move one of them wide?

That’s exactly what Brazil have been doing though.

Not compared to Jesus, no, that’s why Tito prefers him. He had the most tackles and interceptions, as well as covered the most distance, of any forward in the World Cup.

That’s exactly why Guardiola likes him too, he runs himself into the ground every game.

He was sheite the whole tournament as were the rest of the forward line bar Coutinho. You can give us as many stats as you like. You just need to watch the games to know he was rubbish

I know he was, I was just saying why Tite plays him. Coutinho wasn’t good yesterday either.
