Mixed feelings.
Really happy that the protracted saga is finally over and we can move on.
Really sad to see such a fantastically skilled player leave.
Deeply unhappy at the thought that the next time I'll see him he'll be in a lighter shade of blue and doing something special against us.

Yeah I think Pep is maybe looking at a longer term replacement for Silva here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That would seem to be the obvious plan
Now City need to find a long term replacement for Fernandinho

I've gone through the curve of not wanting him to go through to hoping we could get it done asap so that the rebuilding and reinvestment can start. Hopefully this means we can be ambitious with our targets.
Great player who has provided great memories and goes with my best wishes.
But Leicester player no more - we move on.

It’s bittersweet really. The memories are fantastic of course, greatest player to wear the shirt in terms of sheer ability - but his time will be tainted for me by his antics towards the end of his Leicester career.
A wonderful player though and this really now marks the end of an era for Leicester which stretches back to 2012. Let’s hope we can continue in the right direction

Regardless of anything else, Mahrez has entertained us, scored some great goals, set up countless others, got us purring at his technique, been a key part of the greatest Leicester City team in history and has now made us an enormous profit on his original fee. A great player to watch at his best and he will be remembered.
Good luck to you, Riyad. Now go and win the Champions League.

A sad day in the history of our football club when (in my opinion) the best player to ever don the blue shirt has left.
I knew the day was coming but still very, very disappointed that we will never see him light up the King Power again - at least not for us.
If we ever see anyone of his class again at Leicester we will be very lucky.
Good luck Riyad. Go and tear up the CL with Man City.

Shred goes with my deep gratitude for everything he did for our club and for being part of the greatest ever Leicester team.
I’ll be very interested to watch how his career progresses and wish him all the best.
Hopefully it works out better than it did for Drinkwater π
