I don't think Big Mike would've forgotten no. But WTF did King and Co not get back to him as per the agreement?
Big Mike had been over this course before and has played a blinder. Whilst King was free to negotiate with whoever he wished he had to give Big Mike first refusal which he didn't, but apart from that King and others have been involved in detailed negotiations with other possible retailers, they hammer out a deal and then Mike Ashley simply looks at the deal and decides if he can offer the same deal or not, but hasn't wasted anytime on detailed negotiations. Instead he simply looks at the detail of their agreement and then takes his decision based on business practice.
Pretty cute eh?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It makes you wonder why they had to ask for an injunction given it is soooo black and white, they should have just ask Tully as he has saw the contract

And after getting the injunction it makes you wonder why it has then been extended if everything is so black and white

And to think we were assured by tims on here that the judgement would definitely go against us yesterday, and it never

After telling us that everything would be clear when the City Of London issue their statement about it 🤥🤔

They are certainly clued up about it 😂😂😂

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely the injunction is required because it would be impossible to get any ruling in a timescale that stops the sale of shirts? Thats not unreasonable if he has a case

i think curly is going more with the injunction doesnt mean it will necessarily find in ashley favour just that as you say it needs time to decide and in meantime Rangers need to wait before any new deal can go into effect. I think anyway but I am not a legal mind

I guess we will find out. Honestly, between ashley and king, the courts must be fed up. Id give them both contempt charges and make them spend the night in the slammer together

So last year when King announced the deal was ripped up and rangers fans stopped their boycott they were actually buying from sports direct?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ask Tully 👍

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well since you advised him to ask me Curly - the answer is yes. The revised deal that was agreed between King and Ashley gave Sports Direct, £3million in cash, the exclusive right to sell Rangers merchandise for a further year and the right of first refusal to match the terms of of any new deal agreed with another retailer.
Big Mike has said he has not been given the opportunity to exercise his 'first refusal right', applied for an injunction, the injunction was granted and then extended as the case is going to trial near end of July.

Nobody knows how the trial will end up and the decision of the court but that's a fair summary of events so far.

One last point; Ashley has not come in 'late' to this - the deal ran till 31 July - he could have come in much later seeking court support to exercise his right of first refusal.

You state all that as fact and then say no one knows how the case will end up 🤔

If what you say is true then the case can only fall in Ashley’s favour 🤔

Unless of course you do not have access to the contract and you therefore do not know whether what you say is true or not 🤔

It’s strange how only tims know all these facts 🤔

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well let's face it Curly only last week you said you didn't know anything about it until you saw it on here.

We'll see what we'll see.

Still a two goal victory for the Bears and for Gerrard in his first competitive game. Well done. Should be enough to see them through to the next round.
