Liverpool and City.

According to the bookies its these two clubs that will be battling it out for the title. Tbh its how i see it too.

If you look at the rivals then its going to be tough for them to push above these two.

Utd....always with maureen some distraction at his clubs, moans at players plays awful football and u feel its not a together club. Have money but waste it fantastically well, see em in 3rd this year having wasted another 300M

Spurs....i feel they are playing at their max and credit to em for doing it so consistently. I think they have hit their ceiling and need a griesman or mbappe type signing to kick on....but thats pie in the sky. A gallant effort but top 4 beckons as they it 4th.

CFC/Arsenal.....new eras at both and their managers have never managed in the premier league. The toughest time to come in with both city and liverpool really settled and strengthening massively. I see a season of reflection and frustration for both. They can forget top 4 as in truth the 4 teams above are far far too consistent.

Seasons end table prediction:

1..Liverpool/City
2..Liverpool /City
3..M utd
4..Spurs

Might put £20 on Chelsea, I make them 2nd favourites!

That squad, Manager and experience are no joke trust me....

They're certainly a better bet than anyone else given the fact City will almost certainly win and the odds aren't great for Liverpool, Spurs and United considering City will likely walk things again

liverpool will challenge, but karius really has to be improved upon. big loss if chelsea lose hazard. man utd will bore their way to third. arsenal need time to recover from wegnar, and spurs well going by the world cup they will play well against minnows and fold when they meet the first decent team they play.
harry who?
city are the cream and you know they will rise to the top.

Depends if Karius is our goalkeeper.

If he is, we have no chance of challenging for the title.

City will obviously be favourites, having said that they will be missing a lot of players at the start of the season so that will count against them. I think Maureen's time at United is coming to an end they will play dire football again and they will have had enough this time. Spurs and Liverpool will do what they usually do promise a lot and deliver nothing. Both Arsenal and Chelsea will be unknown quantities given the new regimes. From an Arsenal point of view if I see some progress ie more balanced team performances I will be happy even if it means finishing 5th that is good enough although with the additions made they should be much closer to the top.

With the amount of money Arsenal have spent, and the amount of money Spurs have spent, finishing behind Spurs again, would be shocking.

You said in this very thread you expect Spurs to challenge for the title with City but now you're saying Arsenal should finish above Spurs because of how much they've spent?

How does that work?

Yeah fully agree, long odds. That club has a winning mentality! Teams need to actually have a go at city this year, rolling over and focusing on the other 36 games because of the demands they place on you in game does the league no favours!

I’m pretty sure the media said the same thing about Wenger when he came to these shores. Well after that we even started feeling sorry for Spurs. But if that’s how you rate managers each to their own.

To the Liverpool fan, if we improve our defense and show more composure then naturally we will improve. Even in our worst season we barely lost at home so I expect that to continue with less groans from the home crowd.

All Emery needs to do is improve the away record and we will be chasing 4th spot. I actually enjoy the underdog tag we have. Will serve us well in the long run.

This isn't 1996 pal, with foreign managers that are exotic creatures we have never heard of. The man's jib and patter were comical.

Man City 4-6
Liverpool 5-1
Man Utd 7-1
Chelsea 14-1
Spurs 20-1
Arsenal 33-1

In what way does that suggest a 2 way battle for the title ?

Liverpool are not odds on? they just signed that lad from Stoke, the fat midget.
