On the strength of this tournament and his youth, and the fact a few errors have crept into Lloris's game in recent times, I'd be giving Pickford chances.

Their* front line isn't clinical enough... throw enough sheet at a wall though and some of it will stick.

Everywhere else though they're as good as any

Still think Lloris is a better keeper, despite his gaffe today.

Scary thing about France is the younger players that couldn’t even get in the team. Players like Dembele, Martial, Coman and Rabiot could potentially be at an even higher level by the time the Euros and next world cup come about.

France wasnt spectacular by any means. What they did is to study each of their opponents properly and found answers to every opponent.

The most balanced team won the title this time. Think within the team there was a very good understanding and atmosphere in there that helped them to get through difficult games.
