Forget competing with City, I fear we are going to lose even 2nd spot to Liverpool. I can already smell the problems. Pogba is going to come back walking like he is 8 ft tall and rightly so. Mourinho does not like egos and flair players- whereas last year he got away with calling out players like Pogba, it is a different ball game come this season.

I see it differently. If Pogba performs for us as he did for France then Jose won't have to call him out. If Pogba doesnt perform that way, Jose will be justified in his criticism of the player.

How can he perform the same way surrounded by donkeys, playing in a negative set up?

He wasnt that much different than he was for us.

some people are really acting like he is the second coming.

He was a lot more defensively aware, mature in his approach and played for the team rather than himself. It was quite a big improvement for me. Hopefully we see the same next season? Perhaps Jose dropping him helped?

He takes too many touches sometimes as the movement ahead of him is often non existent.
