OK fellas, bearing in mind that

Spurs have still to sign a player, what is your honest opinion of where Spurs go next season? I personally still have very high hopes that next season will still be a stella season, and I think silverware will definitely be coming next season.

Playing at the new ground in front of nearly 62,000 every home game should be a major boost. Settled side hopefully, not too much tinkering from the manager with the full backs would help a lot. Get Toby and Rose signed up double quick, a full squad of fit players, and an assault on the top trophies should be the order of the day.

Ok I am maybe being overly optimistic, but I truely believe, as usual, Spurs will go way under the radar again next season, and finally this could be our year. No matter how many players the other so called big teams sign, they can only play 11 in any one match, and I still think Spurs 1-11 is as good as any in the Prem.

Cannot wait for August 11, and the big kick off at Newcastle. Should be a great season for Spurs, bring it on.

Sandy in a article you done on this a few months ago you thought we’d have to spend £120m+ and seriously upgrade our midfield to compete again.

So I can’t see how you can be this confident when we haven’t done that.

( although I suppose there is time to do so )

Of course any new players would be welcome, but it will be what will be. Spurs still have more than enough to compete even without spending £100 plus million.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that wasn’t what you as saying a few months back.

ATM we are standing still like we had it easy last season
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don`t remember the article, but if I did, I have now changed my mind. Changing your mind is not a crime as far as I am aware.

Here’s the article > http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/389514

Just don’t see how you can change from thinking we need to seriously upgrading to our midfield to we are fine how we are.

Anyway let’s hope you keep this optimistic view when we fall short because we haven’t been pro active enough

To be honest mate, not sure you really have to trawl back over articles just to prove a point. It is a bit childish.

Not at all, can’t throw a strop if someone is just making a point.

Agree..... but ....
Need a real striker to back up Kane.
And son will miss first four games.
Then there's the Dembele question.
And is Wanyama going to be as good as he was?

I think we have a squad in transition and a chairman who is too careful with money.
Could be a rocky season coming!

now everton are in advanced talks with malcom. no hidding from the fact we are having the worst transfer window of all the prem clubs

Yep and now we are gonna hear all the nonsense that our first 11 is as good as anyone's.. Except it can't win anything while ignoring the FACT that to win & compete you have to spend and keep improving. We are not. Spurs are the new Arsenal

A new day, and everybody still moaning.

I have since moved on from yesterday, and am more concerned now about whether the new stadium will open on time.
