Bit of a coup by the sounds of it.

Yeah, if you want players for relatively cheap then just buy them from us.

People seem to think the Vydra offer from Leeds was over the top, but if you look at say Assombalonga, he went for more despite spending most of the time injured. Even recently most of the players leaving us have left for peanuts, when even other Championship players are going for much more.

Not sure why we always end up selling cheap, but we do. Villa might get their £30M.

The Derby Way 9earchange. I've hated our transfer process for selling players for many years.

It started with the 3 Amigos in my opinion. Spurs fiddled a purchase of Tom Huddlestone for far less than he was worth. Who knows what happened to the difference between his real value and the £600k we received.

Well this is a disappointing scoreline

Who?

Does seem odd that with the same squad as at Notts C,
plus the usual carrying of George Thorne, we lose 3-1 to the Stags.
Can't ignore the fact Mason Bennett has scored 2in2

And Wisdom played CB at last in a goalless first half, about time someone had the gumption to play him there for the first time.

Not sure if you was there AJ but my mate tells me Thorne is looking lean and sharp, just lacking confidence in his passing last night.

I wasn't there last night Tommo. I'm pleased for the lad if he's fit. Fact is, his performances last season were a disaster and I honestly feel he should ply his trade elsewhere and go with our best wishes.

Ive only seen Pics of Thorne lately tommo and he does look a lot leaner. Time will tell on him. But im really pleased for my 2nd son Luke Thomas who is showing everybody what he can do. I don't expect him to be a regular this season but last 25 mins off the bench and he will be a nitemare for teams. Pleased with what im seeing of Mason Bennett too. A few people have written him off. Ive not. Bring on Reading!!!

I think this may be the season when Mason Bennet proves his mettle. He always shows promise but hasn't quite made the right decisions or proved to be as effective as he should be. He is strong and quick and unfortunately a bit injury prone. I hope the more intense regime Of Frank will help him in avoiding injury and perform better.
