There were times he looked pretty decent in his first season but he was absolutely destroyed in Europe and isn’t really the answer.

Thought he done ok at the World Cup.

Completely agree. If we're going to invest in a new RB then punt him. If we're not then we have to play him ahead of Lustig in at least some matches.

He has pace to burn and decent gong forward but like many full backs we seem to buy over the years they are found wanting defensively and he was a nightmare and got ripped a new @rsehole away to Bayern Munich. Gave everybody the fear that night every time they came down that side of the pitch.

Ideally he wouldn't have been pitched into that game or Barcelona away. That was tricky for him with lack of game time

Agreed, which then begs the question, if you could pitch him in those games why was he not considered for relatively easier games at home or away to say the bottom 6 clubs domestically.

More chance of him being paid off than sold.

we should maybe give him a few games that are not against the likes of Barcelona or PSG to see if he can be a suitable back up for Lustig
