So here we go then. A proper dry course could bring anybody into contention. Who are you backing?

Rose - 16/1
Rahm - 22/1
Southgate - 250/1 (on that months ago)
Leishman - 35/1
Fleetwood - 18/1
Wallace - 175/1


First round leader:
Hoffman - 80/1
Harrington - 100/1
Langher - 175/1

Gareth Southgate seems a good bet

I usually bet on Fowler and Spieth EW every tournament. Spieth's form is sketchy though.

Might be worth chucking on Molinari

Southgate is a mate of mine and we played together for years as kids. He is good with links golf and is a member at Carnoustie which will help. Thats why his odds have been slashed so dramatically after finishing 6th last year and in decent form.

It really is hard to pick this year
