No to good news at all. When I first saw him play, I think it must have been his last game for
Arsenal against us at Anfield, and then he signed for us, I thought, 'no, not a good way to go.' He just looked as if he didn't have anything to offer.

Proved wrong, yet again. Within two months, he was a completely different player, who, had he not suffered that horrendous injury would have undoubtedly made it to the CL final and the WC.

Now we're told he's out for the whole of next season, from The Boss. Not good news, I'd imagined a midfield of Keita, Fabinho, Fekir (Yes, Fekir) and A O-C. What a midfield! No room for Hendo, Gini, even Lallana and Milly, all on the bench, but what a bench.

I hope Alex gets game time this next season. He deserves it.
