Leicester look set to sign Danny Ward from Liverpool, probably as a second choice for Schmeichel as Jakupovic looks set to leave. Ward has made 3 first team appearances for Liverpool since signing from Wrexham in 2012.....

Ward being sold to Leicester. Our loss. Their gain. Pure and simple.

Well that’s good feedback didn’t know what Liverpool fans thought of him

Always surprised that he couldn’t get a game passed the 2 absolute sh!t that we had last season.
Obviously because he wasn’t rated by the manager.
£12m from a player that cost £113k 6 years ago is good for a player that’s not in the clubs plans.

He was on loan with us in our play off winning season. He was superb! Played every game (to my knowledge) never let us down once.
Absolute bargain.

Is this a different Ward to the one I watched at Hudd.
Great number 2 but if we’re buying him as Kasper’s replacement I’m worried.

But Huddersfield and Liverpool fans both highly rate him?

Watched him at Aberdeen and he's superb. Watched him with Huddersfield and was very good. Good in few competitive and friendly games with us. Couldn't understand the logic to play Karius and Mignolet ahead of him.

BS - I think Liverpool fans rate him purely because he’s not Mignolet or Karius!
He played for Hudd in the championship.
Hardly proof for me!
Speaking to people here, they think he’s decent. Steady Away but nothing special and lacks athleticism to get around the goal.
Reminds me of Hamer personally.
As always, I’ll wait to judge.
That said, he’d be a brilliant keeper to push Lasper for the number 1 spot if we are keeping him.

Amazed at how many fans saw his games when he was on loan <Laugh>
