It turns out they fielded an ineligible player in a league cup game v Cove.
Previously Cove had named an ineligible unused sub and were fined but Albion Rovers had fielded an ineligible player in the PetrolDiesel Cup and got thrown out.
As we know the SFA are good at consistency so Hearts are likely to be thrown out.
Something about Celtic since I mentioned a different team -apparently that is the rule these days on a multi team forum.
Hearts to be kicked out of League Cup

Hertz must be let off.
There's a precedent. Or is that only if you play hundreds of matches with dozens of imperfectly registered players? Not just the one imperfectly registered player in the one match. 😂😂

Would imagine that as it’s a league format then it’s a 3-0 for Ross county. Seems to be different where it’s a one off cup match.

I’d be surprised if they awarded ross county a 3-0 win tbh

Surprised? Why? We are discussing the SFA.
Give Ross County 3 points and
Fine Rangers as they are obviously to blame.

So
Hearts field an ineligible player v Cove Rangers and Ross County are to be awarded a 3-0 win?
Yip sounds like the SFA

It was the long grass to blame. They couldn’t see the paperwork for it

Heart of Midlothian admitted breaching SPFL Rules and were deducted two points from their Betfred Cup first-round group stage tally.
The Club were also fined £10,000 (of which £8,000 was suspended until the end of season 2019/20).
