Rams v Soton

Bit more than mildly optimistic having just watched our boys dominate Southampton.
Yes, Southampton were poor and will struggle but I wasn't interested in them, just in how we played.
Last season we were too slow, ponderous even in midfield. We had too many old players and ran out of legs.
This season we have brought in 2 quality youngsters and are giving our own young uns some game time. There's more cut, more speed and less predictability.
It was only a friendly but Frank got the balance right.
Let's hope hes brave enough to do the same once the league starts.

I absolutely adored cowboy films and TV programmes when I was a kid. Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid, Tex Ritter, Rawhide, Bronco, Cheyenne, Wagon Train were just a few.

I wanted to be a cowboy and went around with a cap pistol in a holster, my dad let me have a ride on a horse. I fell off and gave up the idea.
