WTF....?!!!!

Sky reporting that Leicester have rejected a £12m offer from Al Nissr for Musa. That’s rejected. £4m less than what we paid for easily the worst player to grace the team since Ade Akinbiyi.

WTF is Rudkin thinking, snap their hands off. Pay someone to take him away, I’ll drive him to the facking airport. Unless he’s absolutely nailed on confident that he’s going to get a higher bid then Rudkin needs to get medical help. This guy got completely mugged off by CSKA in the first place, we paid £16m and ended up loaning him back to CSKA AND paying his facking wages 😂😂😂

BS,

You did know I was taking the P.?

The original Moussa was a Sousa signing and only lasted a handful of games and is now at Gillingham. I was trying (and failing!) to be funny.

missed it completely my bad!

There are reports that it is a false rumour. They are actually offering £12m for "former" Leicester City player: Franck Moussa - which would make infinitely more sense.

Seriously, the only way I thought we'd get anything like £12m for Musa was if the World Cup wonder goal match formed the entirety of the buying club's scouting agenda.

We send out a DVD of that game and the pre-season friendly against Barca to all clubs hoping they’d be the next to fall for what is known in the business as a “Hossein Kaebi”.

So you accept £12m and what kind of replacement do you get?

Musa isn't great but we have seen glimpses of potential. His World Cup form alone should increase his valuation to around £20m in a market that actually believes Richarlison is worth up to £50m after one average season at Watford.

I'm afraid that Musa is another case of Leicester buying the wrong player at the wrong time. Like Kramaric, both players are really strikers but they aren't going to replace Vardy so why bother? The most effective player to partner Vardy for years has been Shinji so we should have been looking for number 10s - also the reason Slimani has faded to crapness and is now worth next to nothing.

So in my opinion, £12m is nowhere near enough - think it's called cutting off your nose to spite your face !

People always forget about wages in these situations.

I've no idea what Musa is on, but let's suppose it's £50k a week - or £2.6m per year.

If it was £70k then that would be £3.6m per year.

It's a lot of money if he's going to sit in the U23 squad.

The £12m + wages could easily be spent on a player of greater potential if the club think that player isn't Musa.

£20m?!!!!!

He’s not worth £10m. As for a replacement - we could sign Hal Robson Kanu and he’d probably be just as good

Exactly Joby. Musas wages won’t be cheap, I’d be surprised if it was less than £60k per week given the amount we paid two years ago. He was a club record signing until Slimani followed him.

If you took all that into account and then divided the money spent by goals scored, I’d hate to see what those figures look like

He’s not right for us, could have been if used properly when he first arrived, but time to move him on

Make a video of him playing in the WC and against Barca and he must be worth at least £50M.

Don’t underestimate a impact of removing an unhappy player from the training pitch as well.

What price a happy, focussed squad all pulling in the same direction?

Puel’s direction 😳

Puels direction is sideways
