Anyone a little envious of what Liverpool

are building?

Klopp has had a good look at the team and sorted out exactly what needed to be sorted.

Potent attack in Mane Salah Firminho.
Sorting out the spine of the team with the additions of VVD, Allisson, Keita.
Added good cover in Shakiri.

Meanwhile Utd look like they will be playing the same turgid football as last year with Matic and Sanchez both a year older and a team that lacks cohesion.

Have Liverpool ever been favourites to lift the title ahead of UTD at the start of the season? Has the gap ever been this big in the history of the premiership?

Odds:
City 1.8/1
Liverpool 5.5/1
Utd 9.3/1
Chelsea 15/1

too early to be envious?!?... hmm
well, you let us know when the time is right then, and i will be 1st in line.. to start super-kicking people in their jawbone!
Stop being foolish! Envious?! of them?!
We're Man Utd dammit!! Fix up!!

What does any of that mess of a post mean?

Its too early as they've done and won fack all... Made signings on paper that look good but it means nothing yet

And yeah... If they suddenly break their premier league duck and Mourinho continues to bore us to death while sniping at our history etc... Then theres bound to be envy.

I grew up watching those cants win everything while we were inconsistent through the 80s...I've no desire to see it again ta

We're Man utd.... Fix up... What does that even mean... Turn a blind eye and ignore the shiiite we watch presently?

Man United with a better attacking manager will win the league. I think if SAF was the manager he would have delivered the title.

4th at best for them. Absolutely no gurantee their new players are going to gel. And Salah will no way score what he did last season.

Everybody is going a tad over the top about Liverpool, they have hardly purchased Messi or Ronaldo. I await to see if they actually do improve or not. I have my doubts.

Pretty much the same as how giddy you get about Spurs. You are same level if a bit below now. You are basically the Spurs version of GB. Absolute deluded tool

He predicted Spurs to challenge City for the title last week and win another trophy, despite not signing anyone, because he believes their squad is already good enough.

Then he thinks our exact same squad as last season that finished just 2 points behind Spurs, but with a better goalkeeper, 2 highly rated midfielders and more depth will get 4th at best.

Sandy logic

You have absolutely no way of knowing how good any of these new signings will be. They may all absolutely flop. I would err on the side of caution, before shooting your mouths off. You lot have form for this. Next year is always going to be your year. Scouse logic.

But your reasoning doesn't make any sense Sandy.

Spurs are going to go from 3rd to potentially 1st because they have the same settled squad, but Liverpool will get 4th at best, despite having the same settled squad and the added bonus of new additions?

I just don't see how you can say Spurs will improve but Liverpool will struggle to even replicate last season.

United are a bit thin on the ground for real quality (especially when considering Mata is so unliked), but Liverpool are riddled with even more ordinariness than the countries greatest club currently are.

Klopp is pretty good but he is no Wenger. He ain't going to turn ordinary into impressive too often

This window for us feels like the 13/14 window for Tottenham. They’d sold Bale and spent the money on about 5-6 new players.

Everton’s was talking about how great a businessman Levy was and how Tottenham’s squad had become more balanced with all the quality coming in.

They ended up 6th and the likes of Soldado, Paulinho etc just didn’t work.

Who’s to say the same won’t happen for Keita or Fabinho?

I trust Klopp to get the best out of them but we’ll wait and see. Nobody I’ve spoken to is talking ourselves up for a crack at the title but we must kick on from last season.
