Love conquers all!

Feels like the end
When you're closer to losing your dreams
Than losing a friend
Flying blind
I'm shooting into the dark
Who will I find?
Oh girl
And if it takes me a lifetime
I swear I'll tear down every wall
Love conquers all!

Watch the start...skip 75 laps or so, watch the end. That’s about it

On a 67 lap race, OK chief

Vettel blew it, shock horror. Hope he can still make the championship interesting until the end though but I can't see him winning it now.
Lewis is just a machine, to finish 2nd and 1st in the last 2 races in those circumstances shows it.

Vettel was actually very unlucky. The Hockenheimring is very narrow where he crashed and on any modern circuit he could have collected it all up, no trouble.
That said, it's a (relatively) low speed corner with a pretty big gravel trap but he still made it to the barrier, suggesting he was way too fast.

He was fair enough after the race saying at one point that was the same for everybody, just don't expect that too often, to be fair he makes mistakes less often than Hamilton sounds depressed/bad tempered/moans about the car.

They are more or less equally demanding on others though.

Personally I have no problem with Mercedes dominance. At least they (normally) allow their drivers to race each other, unlike the "other" team.
Also, when Mercedes are dominant I never find myself thinking, "I wonder how they are cheating...."!

It was a fascinating race and a fascinating championship. When they put Hamilton on the Ultras and I saw the rain coming down, I told my wife he was going to win the race.

In tricky conditions, he is the best on the grid. The way he managed the softs for 42 laps, overtaking all those cars was phenomenal.

I felt for Vettel, hearing him sob was hard to take but he's got those mistakes in him. He always explores the limits of the track even when he does not need to.

Hungary will be fascinating

Huh? He was unlucky because he drove to fast?

So he need a wider track be able to save the car? LOL

If he is such a good driver, he shouldnt fack up in the first place. All excuses.

He facked up, period.

I didn't say that did I? I explained why.

As you appear unable to understand the entire thing, probably too long for you here it is in little bites, especially just for voo...

""...and on any modern circuit he could have collected it all up, no trouble.""

That is WHY he was unlucky, for example, had it been the other hairpin it would have been no trouble, indeed, Hamilton ran wide there himself.

You don't consider that unlucky?

OK, but that doesn't mean he wasn't unlucky, it just means you are wrong and fail to understand the logic.

""When they put Hamilton on the Ultras and I saw the rain coming down, I told my wife he was going to win the race.""

I'm not that confident! Too many times he comes storming out of the pits locks up all over the place and then whines on the radio that his tyres are useless.

The last three races though I haven't seen one lock up from him (IIRC) and I certainly think he has driven as well as ever.

Also he has stopped that dreadful habit of moaning about his tyres before setting fastest lap! I expect the team were getting pretty cheesed off with that.

There is no doubt in my mind he wasn't his usual self at several races and I notice he's been talking of retirement, I did wonder.

I just hope he come back right on song like last year.

There are no guarantees with him though!

(Funny how Lauda's absence has been almost ignored by all, "He's unwell", is virtually all I've heard on TV..)

So on a different track he would have been fine?

How can a driver be unlucky if he makes the mistake himself?

But I am the one not grasping it. OK.
