My main worry is losing players who can do a job but not necessarily in puels style,

And are left with squad player's that we've been trying to off load for 18 months as the back up

of that squad of 35 ten will not be in our premier league squad. Who going to buy those we want to off load not our problem and should not be Puels he says who he wants and Rudkin has to do the rest.
As for the Puel style we havn't really seen it yet with his players it was obvious in the first freindly that keep possesion then move it up front quickly not side ways and we know have some players that can do it.

As for the next three weeks those wanted will have been identifed months ago and lets see now Marhez has gone who wants his star billing?

I watched it all, we played well once we’d gone a goal down.

High intensity, pressing football defending from the front.

Played the Leicester Way, not the (yawn ) Puel way.

Dublin has made me all depressed now.

My assessment of the current position of the squad is that there are an awful lot of: “ifs”. We’re potentially short in a number of key areas: back up for Vardy, width/creativity, partner for Ndidi, left back etc. There are, however, a lot of players in a number of positions that ‘could’ step up. I’ve not given up hope yet anyway. Take the following:
Chilwell
Iborra
Silva
Gray
Diabate
Pereira
Maddison
Iheanacho
Mendy
Kapustka

A lot of young players, players who are still relatively new to this league, or players that should be making more of their talent. If 3 or 4 of those really come off then we might be ok. If not then it might start to get interesting for Mr. Puel.

As usual I'm starting the season slightly hopeful, but don't expect us to do anything stunning now our talisman has gone. Comfortable mid table would be ok whilst we transition.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Sam in place before Christmas though. Sorry Joby, is that too depressing a thought for you?

Additions at this stage have been solid, but we're relying on Maddison who is young and new to the league to replace Mahrez's ability to create chances.

This is worrying, the rumours of us signing anyone have quietened down too.
