Hi All,
Following on from comments which have been comparing Emery and Klopp in the quest for who the better manager is. The conversation led onto the comparison of squads and I think most agreed Liverpool had the better squad. With that in mind, what is the best XI from both teams available - as a Spurs fan this is my combined XI being completely impartial:
--Mane Aubemeyang Salah
-----------Ozil
-----Keita - Ramsey
Robertson VVD Lovren* Bellerin
---------Alisson
(*Lovren gets in by default as Arsenal have no good CBs)
Bellerin currently edges it over TAA who will have a great future but it is still early days. Liverpool dominate in defence as it is the area they are definitely stronger than Arsenal.
In terms of a manager a lot would suggest Emery - yet I think I would err towards Klopp considering the personnel and formation. With Emery as an assistant manager giving Klopp tactical advise teaching him how to handle cup competitions.
What are your guys thoughts?

Yeah I like Firmino, does a lot of good to the team and has a lot of positive qualities. Suits the team really well and Liverpool should be happy with that.
Reality is though his role is essentially to get the best out of Mane/Salah and when they aren't performing he rarely picks up the slack in terms of goal scoring contribution.

Overall think the OP has got the team spot on. I'd probably have to agree with that. Liverpool at the moment overall have the better squad but we shall see what happens in the season.
