Must-win tie?

Nerves starting to kick in already about tonight's return leg.

And the more I think about it, the more I reckon we HAVE to finish the job.

Expectations were relatively low going into the first leg - had we lost that game I don't think many would have too downhearted/surprised.

However, It would now be crushing to go out after winning in Croatia - and that kind of blow is the last thing we need ahead of a massive league opener at Pittodrie.

Win and we go there buzzing. I'd expect us to turn Aberdeen over quite comfortably.

Blow it tonight however and it could be a whole lot different.

Confidence takes a dent, self doubt creeps into players' minds, the things we've been doing well, suddenly become a bit ropey.

We could be victims of our early successes if we're not careful here.

We need to get off to a flyer in the league imo which makes tonight so pivotal. A lot of pressure on the players and Stevie G.

Thoughts?

I read the other week that Rangers would be seeded for the last qualifier should we get past tonight, then Malmo.

Seededseriously?

And Maribor *

I think he is confusing Celtic with his own mob.

Half right, Castle. The seedings for the play offs are based on the reds in the 3rd round. So, if we go through having beaten Maribor...we'd take their seeding . Seriously.

Ok, I wrote Malmo wrongly. However it's correct we are seeded for the last qualifiers should we beat Maribor.

Wasn't aware you would take on Maribors seeding , apologies

Even still , how do you know if you would be seeded or not ?

And did someone not say earlier you will face a champions league drop out team ?

Someone who knows more than myself, wrote an article about it that I read last week. I was surprised by it as well. However, of course I'm happy about it, as I had all but given up qualifying a few weeks back due to a lack of seeding.

Still we have to get past tonight first and if we do that Maribor. I will get a bit more excited about it, should we win those.

I'm not sure how many qualifiers will be left by that point from those who went our (europa qualifiers) route CT in all honesty. We may avoid them (Champs League dropouts) due to seeding. Otherwise, what's the point of seeding.

Yes let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Big job to do tonight, and if we do win it’ll bring a lot of confidence to the club.

Good luck tonight guys, you flabby rascals that you are.

Early goal = knock one out.
Lose early goal = erectile dysfunction.

Let’s get it up!

The coefficient.
