How Do You Rate CFC Transfer Window

This summer ?

Barr any last minutes hicups, both Kepa and Kovacic should sign on the dotted line before the business end today.

Now if we add Fekir to that list, and throw Willian for Martial, whilst keeping hold of our best players in Hazard and Kante, then I would pass out in shock.... No no I was only joking off course I would class our summer’s transfer window as an AA+.

In the meantime, I kante kepa calm.....

Your thoughts and opinions pls...

we are setting ourselves up for a MASSIVE fail by messing about with keepers a bucket load of midfielders & not sorting out the strikers

We will not hear the end of this from every fackin corner of the prem

Good to see Kovacic moving to Chelsea with the aim of being in an attacking football side having snubbed the eye gouger and rejecting the filthy rag baastards

The quote was a bit harsh in Marca

All in all, I think Chelsea deserve a B+ for this window - assuming we confirm Kepa and Kovacic. We had a very weak spine last year - and Kepa, newly re-introduced Luiz, Jorginho and Kovacic will all help to strengthen this area.

We still need to improve if we are going to compete for a top 4 position - particularly in the goalscoring department, but hopefully that will happen in the near future if not now. I agree with MOJO - Zaha would have been excellent, but he is expensive and as we are unlikely to sell Willian now we don't have the funds. Maybe next year.

True - we have not solved all our problems. But we had a lot to fix.

Plus, I suppose I'm just pleased we didn't try to sign Butland, which is the direction I thought we were heading.

Gotta say that's a massive move to spend £70m on a keeper...really didn't think we'd do that

I agree. I was beginning to question our ambition, when we were signing players like Barkley and Drinkwater. Bakayoko isn't necessarily a good example, as I think the club had big hopes for him when they signed him. But the others were definitely panic signings that looked like we had more interest in settling for mid-table than challenging at the top. But spending big on Kepa is a good sign for the future.

Even if you do get these signings you won't beat the business we have done
