We haven't addressed our issues with

width at all and unless miracles happen today I really find it baffling that we haven't.

All our wide attackers are players that like to come inside. I'd have no issue with that if we address our full backs but all we've done is brought in Dalot. He's barely played any games for Porto so I doubt he's gonna be ready to make the leap to United first starter already.

Valencia at rb isn't the worst but meh we could do better. Don't get me started on Damian.

However I find it absolutely unacceptable that left back hasn't been addressed. Young whilst he puts in the effort is not good enough and Shaw was tragic in pre-season.

Not one of our full backs can overlap, take a player on etc.

Instead we are chasing centre backs when we have plenty of half decent options there.

I genuinely can't understand what our road of thought is. Not very optimistic for the season.

Its far beyond what we saw with lvg in charge.

That's generous.

"Dont worry i get it, i was the same with moyes and Lvg. I didnt rate them and nothing was gonna change that."

You don't get it at all. I don't care who is in charge I care whats good for the fans and the club.

Would you be happy to pay to watch what was served up last season?

Yes.

Then you have confirmed your need for glory and your lack of knowledge of football. This conversation need not go any further.

Do shut up, we did'nt win anything last year. Idiot.

Valencia and Young are capable of racking up goals and assists. In roles they've played further up the pitch, they've done it historically.

Rashford has never play on the left of a back 3 or 5 whatever you put.

The only success we had with 532 least season was beating Spurs at home, and my god that was an awful game won by a long ball up top.

I've not said he's played on the left of a back three.

I've said he has played plenty of times in the role of a left midfielder/left wingback.

Young was about a ten goal a season player before he moved to LB. He is in the top fifteen all time for assists in the PL despite playing the last four seasons at the back. That puts him ahead of the likes of Matt Le Tissier, Scholes, Baines and Ozil.

Valencia was less prolific, but still a ten goals and assists player before being converted to a RB.

If we went to 3-5-2, I'd expect to see only one of them start at wingback most weeks.

young has never been a good assiter or scorer since being at utd. valencia had one good season.

they are both poor.

I think Sandro was definitately on but our inability to get Shaw off the books changed those plans. Only Everton cane in for him and he didn't want to go to leave so nothing that could have been done. If he was playing it's a different matter, you threaten to bench them unless they go. If they're not playing and o ly have a year it's hard to push them out. Sandro would have been a great option. Hope fully Shaw steps up and if not we go for sessigon next summer when Fulham gets relegated
