Bolton Wanderers v Bristol City

First home game of the season, first game since the university of Bolton took over as sponsors from macron and first home game since that mad celebration at the end of the forest game which ended on the pitch and then into a different stand. Today I will calmly walk back to my seat. Ironically the last time Bolton played Bristol city at the job, then the macron last February was the first fixture after the transfer window shut. Then there was disappointment within the fans after the deadline day sale of madine but a 1-0 win with a magical Sammy Ameobi goal quickly blew that away. This time there is a similar disappointment of not signing anyone on deadline day. Hopefully a similar result and make that 3 straight wins on the trot. Team news. We still have a squad of 24 and promises of more to come before the loan window shuts on 31st August. Donaldson is out injured, ameobi struggling with a hip injury, Wilson and Oztumer playing catch up on fitness. One likely change from the win at wba, noone for ameobi.

Right you are Benny
We do need to concentrate on getting the first team numbers in so we best pop down to transfer thread again for now.
Don't forget the U23's play tomorrow at home up the A6 to Bristol City and we have Leeds away in the Caramac Cup on Tues so why not place your bets now for which game if any Connor features in

I see Noone has finally become a real trotter. Apparently on Monday and Tuesday last week, he trotted off to the loo on average 19 times. Well done that boy for getting through a crucial game on Saturday.

Hall not playing tonight you don't think he'll get a proper run out at Leeds do you.

Use your code book Benny I did pre warn the keeper and said I had money on a left back being next in. Prof is keen to get a new beanpole next.

U23's FT 3-1 Wanderers win after agreeing a HT ceasefire and taking off our three goal scorers to save Bristol's blushes.

Benny, I think we should have our own match thread. We get swamped with teams like Leeds. In fairness, they have a much larger following than we do. So if you can spare the time, I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. No insult intended to the Leeds fans.
