Realistic...

Come on lads, give over with the championship promotion talk. Last season we had similar articles in October, this season we’ve had as many by August 11th ffs . I get why people do it, but personally not buying it or thinking it until January.

Performances have been a dream like. Passion, desire, intensity, work rate and quality all there now, but very early days.
The championship is an unforgiving league - remember the 8/11 clean sheets we kept by Oct? Let’s not let history repeat itself. Feet firmly on the ground.

Ps - personally don’t think derby will be be top 6. Swansea and Boro looking just as good as us (results wise anyway), West Brom comeback well too. It’s not gona be a walk in the park.

If we had of lost both games

Everyone would be saying we will be relegated by Easter.

People are just happy and excited

It’s tongue in cheek half of it

If you can't get excited by the sheer execution of the 'beautiful game' against quality opposition over the last two games then what is the point?

I don't think talk of promotion or indeed relegation on JA606 is going to have diddly squat impact on the final outcome.

The only issues for me, on the field of play, are maintaining the energy levels and avoiding complacency.

I don't think WBA will be there in the mix, Derby are top 6 at best, Swansea is yet to be really tested.....

Stoke City will be team to beat as they gain momentum. Villa, Forest, Boro and Derby in the playoffs.

Not taking anything away from yesterday’s performance, but Derby did carve us open a few times and on another day might well have scored from the chances they spurned. I still think we look vulnerable in defence when we are put under pressure in our own box. Thankfully so far this has proved to be rare due to our current style of play. Berardi has played well so far at CB, but a fit Jansson would be better at dealing with crosses into our box. We still need to improve the accuracy of our passes. Too many are going astray to the opposition but fortunately we regain posession very quickly. I’m being picky here I know but there are still aspects of our game that need improving.

We have the best manager in the league, no doubt about that.

How many of us would have been really happy with Rowett as manager? Well he didn't know what hit him.

Anything can happen from now with Bielsa.

Yeah fair point that... think the difference between this and that is the performances rather than the results tho

100% agree.

It’s nice not to be fuming for a whole 2 weeks! Long may it continue.

My excitement levels remain very much under wrap. Let’s get to 15-20 games and see where we are. You only have to remember where we were after 10 games and where Fulham were last season.

After some people thought we were may be in relegation trouble this season it’s a huge relief more than anything else that we look like being at the right end of the league.

It's not the fact we've won, it's how. We won our first 6/7 games last season but we never played like this and it turned out we played the lesser teams.

Derby and Stoke will both be up there and we made them look silly.

My only concern is burn out, because nobody can live with us on this form.

Agree with gelderd.

Presently, this team looks too good for this division,
in the style Bielsa has them playing. Revelation.
