How Depressingly Usual...

I was directed to this article in the lefty luvvie handwringing rag ‘The Guardian’ via social media and, to be honest, I’m not even surprised that the nefarious shenanigans to circumvent the football rules were devised in Leicester.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/aug/12/george-hirst-sheffield-wednesday-leuven-leicester

Not content with ripping off their creditors and cheating their way back up the leagues, causing much re-writing if league rules along the way, they have now decided to use some tinpot foreign club to rip-off Sheffield Wednesday.

They’re disgusting. If this is left unpunished and the loophole remains, academies will cease to be anything like viable and English talent will be the exception, with players imported rather than developed here.

Leicester are filth. Do they have a dedicated team of shysters poring over the league rules to find ways to bring the game into disrepute? This goes a long way to damaging the image of ‘small club made good’ that they carefully cultivated when flicking the league that they wouldn’t even have been in without cheating.

I see Looney is his manager in Belgium.

I can't get as cross as you are 666, they are obeying the rules just as Amazon do with their taxes.

Why didn't you put this on the smelly fox board?

...because they’d try to defend it and frankly it’s not about comment counts, I just thought it was another example of what filth that club actually is.

£60m for Mahrez, probably North of that when Maguire goes in January, and they’ll stealing kids from Sheffield Wednesday to save themselves a few bob. Fcking disgusting.

Can you please tell me why some posters and you are so anti Leicester? Was it the Wembley/Savage business?

Just Savage I think. And his era of players who were in that Martin O'Neil side. Izzet, Walsh, Lennon, Elliott, Roberts, Sinclair.

Team full of A$$holes.

VC
The bin robbers were the first club to use administration as a way of not paying your creditors but still paying your players when you've gone bust.
Other teams since, Pompey, Luton etc took a points deductions and had to come to arrangements with creditors in order to satisfy the league that they remained a viable concern.
Those rules were brought in because of Leicester. It would go on to spawn FFP which Leicester again were the first club to ignore. Which they have done more than once.
So they caused the rules to be brought in and once they were they had, and continue to have, no intention of following them.

In short serial cheats from years ago.

As 666 says they must have a dedicated team employed to figure out how to get around the rules.

There is no club in this country anywhere near as detestable as Leicester City.
