and another very good all round performance and really good to see Roofe follow last weeks mom performance with 2 goals and another mom award. I have criticised Saiz for offering us nothing in the 2nd half of last season but it seems we have back the player from the first half of the season. That said he still moans constantly to the ref which i hate to see, wish he would just get on with it even though dirty derby did kick lumps out of him all afternoon.His all round play is a lot better but he still makes the wrong decisions at times and holds the ball too long before releasing. Hopefully MB will further educate him as a really good player in there.
Nice to see Alioski get a goal and assist and he seems to have learned he doesnt have the pace to beat anyone and is now playing a lot more intelligently by passing and moving.
Whole teams performance was first rate apart from Bamford who looked well off the pace and started to get a bit shirty and got himself booked which is not what we need when cruising.
Only been 2 games and means nothing but at least we can enjoy a bit of success with some great to watch football for the first time in years, long may it continue and we the fans all seem to be singing from the same sheet, even Jonty was positive yesterday.

Ian Holloway picked out Bamford as a great example of what we were doing right on Quest. His desire to get the ball back by defending from the front showed, according to Holloway, the ethos of the team, despite Bamford giving away a free kick on the halfway line.
Strange how independent people who have spent their whole lives in football see things so differently.
I have no idea if Bamford will fit in, but I sure won't write him off on the basis of his first 20 mins for us

not writing him off mate just said he aint up to the pace of the rest of the team yet and seemed to get wound up quite easy. Needs a few more weeks of intensive training to be at same level as the rest

Its our fault for leaving the transfer until the final week. Another reason why signing players earlier as opposed to saving wages is beneficial. A record signing should be signed early in the window so they're ready from day 1

Bamford did what I imagine he was told to do. Stretch them when on the ball and press them when not. Yes, he was a bit clumsy at times, but this is a new style for him, so time must be allowed to see how he can adapt to the setup.
I imagine he will start against Bolton, so that will give us and MB a better indication of where he is at now.

Got really hacked off with Bamford, sitting there thinking that not only were we the best team in the division but our disciplinary record was the best as well and he goes and gets himself booked.
To be fair, so did Alioski but Bamford hadn't scored and made me happy.

From what I'm seeing from here the players don't seem to be making the stupid runs they did with the ball and losing it, they seem a lot quicker with their passing and movement off the ball!..
And arguing with the ref seems a lot less!..
Players are running around and laughing more than last season, hopefully when things do hot up they can keep smiling!..
There seems to be a new belief in what they're doing!..
