For the brief time we saw it yesterday I got the feeling it will obviously suit jorginho, think David Luiz will flourish under it and Barkley if he can back to his form shown early on in his Everton career. The attackers should have a field day, not including morata in that. I think it's Taylor made for giroud. I feel sorry for the full backs, it's going to be a long old season with teams sticking the ball in behind them to test their lack of pace every game. I can see kante getting a little lost in his new role, the things that make him such a special talent are limited further forward. That being said I see him being good enough to improve yet again like he has done ever season.

And the weakest elements of kantes game are killer passes and finishing, something that he is going to be required to do game in and game out further up the pitch

Did he have many chances to do either under Conte?

No not massively, but I wouldn't say he's never had the opportunity to demonstrate attacking play

As I said, unfounded.
He's been improving and evolved year-on-year with passing & creating chances, far more just basic limited footballer that you make him out to be.
It's funny you believe (possession) system will suit Barkley, this is a player that constantly relinquishes possession and makes horrible decision-making at the best of times.

Kovacic will be the one required to predominantly play the "killer passes".

Defending from the front. Kante will excel in his new role and will make those runs in the box. Jorginho will be the glue and will help keep the possession, whereas Kovacic (if he plays) will add more creativity in our midfield. We will just hope that our front line trio of Hazar——Morata——-Willian/Pedro will score enough goals to keep us competitive this season.

Taking control of midfield is the first step.
Goals (from midfield) come secondary and will fall in place once first is sorted, is my belief.

Midfield is the best has ever been in the last couple of years, provided Jorginho and Kovacic settle/adapt to epl

Yep on paper it should be.
Good thing with Kovacic signing is he's hungry to prove a point and master new ideas.

Kovacic Jorginho Kante on paper is an absolutely elite midfield, very excited to see what they can do
