heres an article on bbc thats quite interesting showing how some PL clubs make a profit without including fans. 91% of uddersfields income through TV money and only on sky a fraction of the times we are. PL is obscene.

Jonny, I was really disappointed with the food in the US in general. Thought in restaurants it was of poor quality and the food in the UK was of a much higher standard. Was also disappointed with portion sizes.
Bought a hot dog in Yankee Stadium and was really let down. Prefer a pie.
Horses for courses.

My point was not quality but was availability and quantity. Easier to buy (more food kiosks, servers carrying food in the stands, etc.) and more quantity in US. Experienced food being sold out soon after halftime at Elland Road.

Depends what food you get in the US. Chinese and Indian food isn't as good as the UK but they have better Sushi, Burgers and BBQ food.

Again, Outwood, it’s not a comparison of type, quality or ones preferences.

It is all about generating revenue.

The easier it is to buy and having sufficient supply to meet demand enables the maximizing of revenue from the opportunity.

Hopefully this is an area the 49ers will be able to help with, but it’s a simple fix, imho.

so jonny you reckon we should have the marching bands and cheer leaders as well. Could also have national anthem as well so that low life mclean at stoke could take a knee, wish someone would take his.

I have to completely agree. Went to Vegas last year & did my research before going on the best so called eateries. Stayed at the Paris on the strip & the food was not for me. I would class myself as a budding chef (well I like to cook) & foodie. When I go anywhere I like to eat or at least sample what the locals eat & In general was very disappointed.

Guys, calm down....

The topic is revenue and how to do better.

Nothing to do with cheerleaders, fireworks, anthems (agree it’s overdone here) or food quality in Vegas (my experiences there have also been lousy).

Last time I’m going to try keep the conversation on track.

Lower ticket prices where crowds are not close to capacity each week and make more money with better food availability with sufficient quantity to meet demand.

Enjoy the game later!

All teams need fans. A club without fans is?
Imagine players who'd want to play in front of half empty, or even empty stands?
But I know you all know this.
So the topic is not about that really, is it
