One game gone early days but who will prove to be the better signing come the end of the season.
Fred or Keita?
My opinion having watched Keita a lot since we were first linked with him is that for Fred to better him he will have to be one of the best midfielders in the league next season. I have seen Fred play in the CL for Shaktar and he looks good in possession and can take a man on. I also watched both players debuts and Keita looked every bit the real deal while Fred didn't do much wrong he never got close to taking the game by the scruff of the neck in the fashion Keita did.
I think Keita looks like he was born to play in our team and Fred might take longer to show his true abilities but overall rate Keita as the better player who has proved it in a better league at a higher level than Fred and will prove to be the better player come the end of the season.

Keita is miles ahead, it's not even funny. Fred can be a decent player, but Keita is capturing the headlines in a positive manner.
