Jagielka's sending off, was it a red?

Now for me there is no doubt that the Jagielka decision was the right one, To me serious foul play, and a deserved red.

And I'm sure most if not all Wolves fans reading this would agree, with most Everton fans adamant it was a yellow at worst.

But lets go back 4 months or so to the sending off of Danny Batth, again for serious foul play. But how many here were swearing blind (like my brother) that no way was it a sending off.

Very similar challenges, both sending offs, in my book.

What our fans thought back then.

Arouna, the biggest mistake came from Jagielka, poor control and a poor challenge left the ref with a decision to make, In the end a sensing off was the correct decision.

I’m sensing you thought the refs error would have been accepted by wolves fans if reversed.

For me yes, I was the same when Batth got sent off last season, my brother was just like the majority of Everton fans.

To be fair there are some Everton fans that see it for what it is, So it seems some fans can look beyond their club loyalty.

I’m all for the refs interpretation for the foul. But the position of the FK

A shocker.

No argument about where the foul took place, but the real error in the whole scheme of things was down to Jagielka.

Sheffield Wednesday then, away. Could be worse, but Nuno will probably rest players.
