I don't think Poch has burnt bridges with Toby but if he decides to play 4 at the back with Vertonghen a guarantee then who should he sensibly choose - a fantastic young CB that can hold his own and committed to the club or an experienced player that will likely leave in 12 months and hinder Sanchez progression by playing? Simple choice.

Well, if you want to lose a few matches training Sanchez this season, then by all means leave Toby on the bench.
