JA606 trawling......

4 games in, very early days, and we've hit the summit after arguably our poorest performance yet.

Another set of interesting results tonight, Stoke City still trying to get started and poor old Garry Monk looking like he's got another difficult season ahead .

What's clear is that we have another interesting Championship season ahead with a couple of dark horses likely to be mixing it up with a few of the early favourites come the end of the season.

In between flicking between some of the games tonight I've been having a looking at some of the threads played out during preseason. We're a positive bunch aren't we?

Not normally a trawler but I'd encourage you all to have a look at some the stuff we wrote! Do it now whilst we're still top.......

Some of the concerns clearly still hold true but some, well, what can I say.

I guarantee it'll raise a smile.

We're a special bunch and I'm writing this on the back of numerous articles on straight records and CDs........

Comparing our activity to that of other fans from other so-called big clubs and our Championship rivals all I can say is I'm glad I'm a Leeds United fan. In spite of the differences of opinion. I think we're the most entertaining, emotive and loyal bunch of supporters around.

Keep up the good work one and all!

Cracking start from a club that struggled last season. I think they'll achieve mid table at best.

A lot of the worries from pre season still hold water in fairness.

If we don’t sign a centre back, I don’t think we’ll go up.

and someone who can play the Phillips role may be useful. We have Klich and Forshaw, but not sure if they offer the same as Phillips and the man himself isn't consistent enough to play for the whole season.

oh, and a goalkeeper with wrist muscles would be helpful too...

Stoke are suffering from a relegation hangover, too many players used to losing and disinterested. It shouldn't be a surprise because how many clubs go straight back up after relegation? I can only think of Newcastle and Burnley in recent years

I think Brentford are the ones to watch this season. They've had a good team the last 2 seasons but just lacked the quality to get over the line and finish top 6. Made a great start now. Love the way they do business so good luck to them.

My worry is that we have played teams that are bottom feeders just like last year.....we were flying after 8 games but it turned out they were all rubbish!!!😳

Add Bolton to that list .......... cup game i'll grant you, but we've beat them nonetheless ........

I can see this season being the most competitive yet ..... zero easy games.

I get where you're coming from infinite.

Time will tell but I think Derby will be up there when they find their feet and Swansea looked like a good team.

Bolton are on 10 points with us as well in the league
