Weiman

Hi Rams Fans

Thanks for Weiman - he can’t stop scoring for us - and he cleared one off the line for us on Saturday in our win over Swansea too!

I see he only managed 4 goals for you all season last season - he’s on 5 so far for us (averaging 1 goal per game) were you playing him in goal?

Seriously, I know it’s early days, but I like what I’ve seen so far VERY much!!!

Barnsley beat us at Barnsley and not PP

Sorry Griff, you are of course correct.

I should have known as I remember Graham Richards commentating when he scored!

Both games were 1-0 to the home side, Eranio scored a penno at PP.

The worst case of an ex player scoring against us was Mart Poom for Sunderland. Bleedin' goal keeper in the last minute. Roy of the Rovers couldn't make that one up.

yman is a good lad but a small fish in a big pond here.

Er - top scorer in the league is a small fish?

What’s the ‘big sea’ you refer to? The Championship, or Derby County Football Club?

Ok early days but barring injury his run looks set to continue.

Pleased Wiemann is doing well for you. He is very quick and his work rate is excellent and seems to be an all round decent guy.

Truth is though his passing, shooting and decision making were not up to the same level, at least not with us anyway. It was a good deal for all involved.

I didnt expect to get the fee that we did for him if any at all tbh and thought he may get loaned out for the final year of his contract so that was a bonus. With the size of of our squad he was never going to get any game time this season for us.

If he carries on the way he is then its also a baragin in the eyes of bristol city so everyones a winner.

It's like thisbcfcredandwhite (U5014), when Yman was heading towards the goal with the ball at his feet you just knew he wouldn't score. When Vydra was doing that you just knew he would score, you should have bought him.

It must be infuriating for you that your proposed wind up has failed, we all liked Yman and hope he does well for you.

Interesting comment - yes my post was intended to provoke a reaction (which it did) but not to start a war!
Some of the comments about being a ‘great signing for Bristol City but not good enough for Derby’ could be interpreted as an indication of Derby fans’ aloofness over our ‘little ole club’.
I don’t think we are much smaller than you lot any more.

Hardly call it a 'war'. You came here to provoke and were served a dose of truth.

It's kinda like DJ Campbell, he played at several clubs found his home at little ol' Blackpool where he was banging 'em in. All 23 of them over two seasons.

Weimann has found his level with Bristol City where he'll probably considered one of the senior players and one of your better players. At Derby, he was regarded as a squad player, playing in the wrong position.

Your comment regarding Fielding kicking it out if touch made me laugh.

Weimann is a great player. He can catch rabbits for fun he is so quick. I put it down one of a few mistakes by Gary Rowatt. Good luck at Britol against all teams except Derby.
