The uk is one of the worst in history for it.

for what?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Invasion, dividing and conquering and carve ups
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you mean the best at then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends what side of the fence you’re on
----------------------------------------------------------------------
it does....
But their would hardly be anyone in Nigeria were it not for us Brits putting a stop to them all being shipped out to the Americas and the like.

I’d imagine every single country and political leader would carve up whatever they wanted if they were able to.
well the whole idea of the EU is about bringing countries and people closer so I don't think its actually the case.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s plenty of carve ups in Africa that aren’t publicised because it suits those doing the carving. Nigeria and Congo being two of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
well we are well out of their now....
Nearly 60 years
Left them to get on with things
Going well I hear.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When we’re getting a sweet deal for their natural resources we don’t argue but when someone has something we want we’ll invade. That’s about the size of it.
Any talk of regime change is founded on greed and not for the good of the country concerned. That’s at best second in their thoughts.

Divisive is just a lazy label for anti-indy folks to use. Load of utter shiite.
The idea of independence may be divisive, but putting the blame for that on only one side is really dishonest, or extremely stupid.
It's as appropriate to call unionists divisive unless they give up their position as it is to call the same for nationalists.
Having it travel only one way is like complaining about the a you're beating with a stick because you don't like the sound of him crying because you're beating him with a stick.
And the true roots if divisiveness in our society surely lie in the unequal - increasingly unequal - distribution of wealth and property, at the expense of social cohesion, coupled with, imo, a vey dangerous mix of economic volatility and uncertainty.
If you're looking for the true roots of divisiveness, then look to the governments of the last 30+ years we've had. Variously actually propagating divisive measures or doing nothing to redress them.
That lack of certainty and faith in any sort of stable future is what breeds divisiveness, base don fear, leading those susceptible to the sorts of manipulation we've seen - developing toward the ever more extremes and popularising them in the process.
Personally, I voted to stay in the EU - not because I had a great deal of time for them over there wasting huge amounts of money, but on balance because I felt they at least offered a form of brake to the impending social upheaval we're heading for when free market reigns and fvck you jack attitudes are allowed, even encouraged, to prevail unfettered. In my view it is the shredding of these social rules and protections that are the driver for the more swivel-eyed of the brexit-bunch. Plus, I mean, just fvckin LOOK at the STATE o' the cvnts!
Independence - simple - get rid of such malignant tory cvnts once and for all. I know it seems strange to make a political decision based on politics, but hey...
...as for Indyref II, fvckin right there will be one - the first campaign was won hands down by Yes - starting base in the 20s, ended up in the 40s - a lesson project fear failed to understand so applied the same to Brexit with disastrous consequences. Starting mid 40s, and with demographic shifts (many of all the auld No cvnts will be deid in a decade or so), will see a different result. Sure there's no going back, but whose ever voted for less independence anyway?
We'll be better off - why? - because we'll be free of tory rule we've never voted for in decades. That's a core certainty - the rest - mainly supposition depending on what side of he debate you choose to anchor in.
Oh aye, and I'm happily in a lodge and voted Yes, so there!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting called cvnts probably helps change opinions
I'm out.
