I know. Milner needs to up his game.

Firstly a trophy Mrs is required to up his media profile. Secondly he needs a modelling contract, he needs to be on the side of busses, dressed in his pants, looking smoldering.

Thirdly, he needs a boot kicked in his face for that all important sympathy card.

He also needs a lobotomy so that he can have the vocabulary of a 5 year old. Only then can he be compared to Beckham.

How about if he wore a pink dress, fishnet stockings, high heels, bright red lipstick ...

It cracks me up when people slate players like Milner and Henderson.

Then you see players like Thiago Alcántara, one of the best midfielders around full stop, sing their praises.

Not a right fit for most teams but they are essential for Pool to play well or at their best.

TBF, he’s probably played a hell of a lot more for us then he would have done for City.

Milner had to leave really to get regular games.

Look at citys squad and compare it to Pools. Pools is inferior so id say it was a good choice for him really.

He has gone from a mop up man to a first 11 player, in a weaker team though I think it made sense to most footy fans really

I saw him in Harvey Nicks about this time last year. Almost certain he was shopping for some new plain white t shirts.
