I hope we have cleared up thats not his role and we as a team created 12 goal attempts against the league leaders and scored however being the first team to do so this season.
Still the lament is we lack creativity Well without Vardy and Marhez no Hollywood passes but plenty of forward moving build up play.
With Ghazal,Maddisson,Chillwell,Pereira,Gray and Albrighton in the team thats your creative department all are capable of creating or scoring.
We get back Vardy a player any team would struggle without, also can you see it would be hard to attract a 20 goal + striker to sit one the bench and would cost £50m for the privilege.
Does anyone think Bournmouth is going to be an easy game?
Lack of creativity from Mendy

If we don't tighten up with 4 at the back it may be worth trying 3 at the back. With both Pereira and Chilwell appearing a bit suspect defensively they would get better cover as wing backs. It would also have the huge benefit of only seeing Amartey on the pitch in an emergency.

Knockart's not done much has he? Might be playing at this but not done enough to be considered at home in the Prem.

I kind of disagree, we’re working into positions where the next pass or move is a goal scoring opportunity and we make the wrong desicion. Both Iheanacho and Ricardo were looked off in the final 20 of the match with some missing the right option. We get those right and I think we’ll be good.

I think we all agree that there are some good signs but things aren’t quite clicking yet.
Time will tell if they will or not.

I think if you play two defensive midfielders in the middle than unless they are pinging the ball over the top to vardy or Maddison, you won’t really have the quick rate of passing to create opportunities like Spurs and Liverpool do.
The problem Claude has is that the other options - Silva and Iborra are frankly not good enough. They aren’t even as good as Drinkwater at making decent forward passes and runs - which is why Leicester are reportedly monitoring his availability ahead of January.
That’s the clubs fault for selling him in the first place and paying over the odds for another player who isn’t worth it

Don’t blame the club for Deinkwater leaving BS. He made it very clear he wanted to leave and would be disruptive if he stayed.
That worked out well for him.
Apart from the shambolic way in which he came, Silva in theory was an upgrade. He looks like he has all the attributes but for one reason or another, hasn’t adapted to the pace of the premier league yet.
I think Iborra abs Silva are both excellent players. Just maybe not in this system. Like Drinkwatwr couldn’t fit in to Chelsea’s system.
Wonder if Mahrez will get more game time?

At no point did Drinkwater make it clear that he was going to be a disruptive player. He made it clear he wanted to leave - so did Mahrez when Man City came in for him in January, but we didn’t sell. You don’t make such a late decision to sell a key player and then try and bundle a replacement over the line with minutes to go.
Shakespeare was fuming with Rudkin for so easily giving in, he actually made his thoughts on the matter clear publicly in the following days which was the beginning of the end for him.

I see Andy King won't be helping out in midfield as he's been left out of the 25 man squad and is now in Limbo probably having to get game time in the under 23's, sad position for a Leicester Legend still only 29.
Surprisingly, despite more sightings of Lord Lucan recently Simpson is included in the 25 man squad, does Puel see the frailty in the Right back position or did Simpson and King play rock, paper scissors to see who got he 25th place?

Although a brilliant servant to the club, a rare breed who has 3 league titles ( Prem, Championship abd League 1) with the same club, Kingy should have been looking to move in the summer. Has the loan window now closed ?
Simmo should be at least on the bench if fit.
Nevs thread is about Mendy. Who would have thought that Pappy would be a first team regular this season. If Mendy can come back surely a fully fit Simpson can.

Mendy is a Puel Favourite.
Simpson is not!
