Seen highlights of saturdays creditable performance (poor defending), second time i watched the camera zoomed in on Southgate .
The England manager must have enjoyed the game, except for one rather worrying situation.Poor chap was sat next to Keith Vaz!!
Who in the club thought that one up.? What would they discuss??Tactics??Can think of many good jokes. Not sure suitable on here.
First time have seen Southgate look uncomfortable.!!
rather worrying sight !!

Funnily enough I thought the exact same thing.
I can imagine it was awkward.

I've come to the conclusion that the people of Leicester East would vote for Keith Vaz even if he was an actual corpse.

I would prefer the latter, but alas, I'm not from that area.

Probably nothing more than a “bootlicking” exercise, working in someone’s favour.
I remember when the top man of the organisation I worked for came down for a visit. They removed all the mundane lampshades and bulbs, replaced them with extravagant chandeliers, rolled out a brand-new carpet and gave the walls a lick of paint. After he’d gone they replaced the light fittings with the originals and took away the carpet.

Ah, good old Keith. He once said the most 'politician' thing I've ever heard.
It was after the cash for passport scandal when he was suddenly 'unwell' and had to have a long period of recuperation. Or was it after the expenses scandal that he was caught up in? I forget now. It definitely wasn't after the 's3x and drugs with rent boys' scandal that he was allegedly involved in.
Anyway, I digress. After Keith's latest absence from the public eye, he suddenly sprang back to life and had a walk about in his constituency to meet his adoring public and reassure them that he was alive and well and ready to ban the Coca Cola lorry from the streets of Leicester.
East Midlands news followed him on his walkbout and during the filming, a little old man came up to Keith and said 'Where have you been?' Keith paused for a minute, looked the man squarely in the eye and said, 'Where have YOU been??'
What? He hasn't been anywhere has he??? He's been in his house. He's been at the shops. He's been living his life!!
Another non-stick answer from teflon Keith, the man that can do no wrong, despite the amount of very wrong things he allegedly does.

Gareth’s southgate in the national football manager and this was at a football stadium during a football match.
Other than that, probably not a lot.

Gee thanks for clearing that up misery.

Maybe Southgate is saying to Vaz "sure Keith, I'll sign your programme if you get me a Knighthood!"
