Fair points, Jamie, however, as the captain of the club, Liam has a higher standard of expected behavior, like it or not.

Nah Ramos is ten times worse at real yet doesn’t get the stick.

Think the double standards point between Berardi and cooper is s fair one, there is a slight difference though... berardi’s are ‘red mist descending’ moments... people can identify with loose cannons a bit. Cooper has had a few of those but his mess ups are often errors of judgement under pressure... a needless handball, a sly stamp etc.
Cooper’s a good centre half but as the full package I don’t think he has it between the ears. To his credit he’s done well this year, and we’re playing the kind of football that puts a lot of pressure on the back 4/5 and keeper from a distribution point of view so errors are inevitable. I certainly don’t agree with fans having a go at players... it’s counter productive.

Are you going to throw out another name every time I respond? 😉
When Liam plays at Ramos’s standard, his occasional loss of composure will be forgiven much easier, I predict.

Always rated / liked him. His attitude, I am a brick wall. You will have to run through me to beat me, love it, solid, aggressive, never say die attitude, FULL ON. We could do with a few more like him. Doesn't let his slight lack of skill to inhibit his game WARRIOR !!!!!!!!

Loved him since we signed him. Reminds me so much of my self, on and off the pitch. Not many players around like him.

One of my favorite players over the past decade or so.
Gives his all for the club. Is he slightly unhinged? Yes.
But, that's who he is. Without him against Boro, not sure
we'd got the draw? Despite the mismatch in height, he
gave them what they gave us.
And I have no problem with Coops game either. Those two and Kalvin are the players that have the opposition's heads on swivels.

The way he got injured though he ran and jumped two footed into the back of Phillips and the Boro player. Was a Berardi esc tackle but I was stiches during the replay. He flattened Assambalonga early doors instead of just poking it out for a throw

Yep Shaun. You could tell he was flying in with the intent of possibly ending that player. And almost ended his own season. It was laughable in review. But, like you
I loves me a nutter.

Some ppl are just naturally short fused. Usually short ppl, hence short man syndrome. Berra is a not a nutcase like Gattusso or Keane, he is just no nonsense like Duncan Ferguson.
It's a shame he is so small, could you imagine that mentality on someone the size of Pontus lolol.

That's a frightening thought Mike. There would be bodies everywhere if he was built like that.
