Awful last episode
Just such a let down.

Yip.

Wasn't really expecting much, as quite often with television dramas the journey is better than the getting there (Top Of The Lake, being a prime example of this. But, even without taking all the hype into account, that was a particularly meh conclusion.

Record viewing figures too. The BBC must be kicking themselves.

There were some massively ridiculous parts (evading an entire police army to go to a lead suspects House) but on the whole I loved it.

Not sure everyone on the thread will have watched it yet, so *spoiler alert* the thing that got me most about the end was the thing with the thing, and whilst those things have sort of happened in the past, nothing like that thing has done. Not in the UK at least.

The first thing was a bit daft, and totally unbelievable, but you have to accept that kind of thing in dramas sometimes.

For me it was the second thing (who did the deed) that was far worse. Totally illogical. This would never happen in the UK.
