All this with a wishy washy squad.Its hard to tell in what direction we are going as a club but no doubt Emery is a top manager and hopefully the guys who bring in the players support him well.
If we can go on a run, maybe 8-10 game winning run we will compete for top 4. The aim remains for us to develop as a team, develop the squad and maybe compete for the top prizes in 2 seasons or 3.
I think we have the right manager at the football club, cant imagine why PSG let him go. Our next few transfer windows will determine if we will compete at the top or not

Only the City game was truly disappointing and tbh that was to be expected given the circumstances. The Chelsea game had a lot of encouraging signs and we've pushed on since then.

Great to see we have a proper game plan in matches now, and Emery isn’t afraid to make early changes. Things like that were seriously lacking in wengers last few years. Defence is still shaky, but it’s improving game by game. I think top 4 is still a bit of a stretch, mainly as the teams above us just have more quality in their ranks. We’d probably need 1 or 2 them to have an off season for us to sneak in. However I hope Emery is backed to buy again in January, with another 1 or 2 players we could make a strong push for top 4

Next 2 league games at home as well, not by any means saying Everton and Watford will be easy but we should be looking to win these sort of home games.We were strong at home last season so I hope we can keep that up.

Only 5 games in. Things can change very quickly. Spurs beat united and since then, united have won their next two and Spurs have lost theirs.

Yep apart from the City game and even that wasnt too bad as we actually created/had 2-3 excellent chances we have done well. Chelsea game hurt imo as we should have been winning by at least 2 goals by HT but for some pathetic finishing (Miki,PEA, Iwobi)

You just don't know what to expect over the course of this season. There were big obvious mistakes being made over and over under Wenger so you'd like to think improvement will come given Emery is a great young coach.
The goalkeeping situation still seems strange and the guys are obviously going to need time to adapt to the new systems. Lacazette looks on great form and if a few more attackers start to pick up we'll at least score plenty of goals

Need players like Ramsey, Ozil and Mkhi to contribute more with the goals tally because at the moment it only looks like Lacazette as being the most likely to score

It's quite nice going under the radar for once. Finally a season where there is little to no expectation/pressure and we can just focus on improving.
