Lucas Torreira 34

He has to start against Everton am tired of Gendouzi experiment and can someone please have Ramsey for free he’s even awful than Coquelin.

Start Litchtsteiner and drop Bellerin and play Mikhi instead of Ramsey and Mustafi needs a quite word if it doesn’t work he must be tortured.

Torreira has to start for me alongside Xhaka. I'm not Xhaka's biggest fan, but he seems to perform better when Torreira plays, most likely because Torreira screens the defence and has license to play a bit more freely.

Guendouzi isn't positionally disciplined and still needs to develop his tactical intelligence.

I'd rather we don't start Ramsey on the right, but I don't trust Mkhitaryan to track back and help Bellerin out. Somewhat controversially, I'd actually start Welbeck/Iwobi on the right. Both of them are quick, powerful, strong, have a good work-rate and can carry the ball forward, even if their finishing leaves a lot to be desired.

I'd start Leichsteiner for more defensive stability against Everton, as Bellerin's side seems to get targeted a lot because teams know he can be a liability defensively/he has less protection.

Don't think any of this will happen though. It's just what I think we should do.

Welbeck brings more to the table than Ramsey and I really hope we get rid of Ramsey just like Wilshere and Walcott offers kaput

Have you actually watched them this season?

They’ve not been great and after struggling to beat Southampton struggle to draws against Huddersfield, Bournemouth & Wolves.

Then getting twwwwatted by the shambles that are westham.

Add in the fact that you always beat Everton and usually by a good score, this fixture is the highest scoring premier league fixture ever. They are sh!te mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They have enough forward players to trouble most defences in the Prem. Their defending, like ours, is not great and that's why I think we should be able to get the better of them because I feel our forward line is stronger than theirs.

That being said, Calvert-Lewin and Tosun are both pony, but if Richarlison starts up front, it could be an issue.

Most of those teams you've listed that they dropped points against were teams who tried to counter against them and generally don't play a high line like we do.

Which is why I'm saying playing open football against them could actually benefit the players they have.

I don't care if we usually beat Everton or not. The past results have no bearing on how we will do in the future. It's a different season, different managers, different environment.

You can dismiss them all you want, but they still have a squad of good players. They are just underperforming right now.

Did that make sense before you posted it?

Actually. I just realised they were down to 10 men at both Wolves and Bournemouth yet still managed to get something from both games.

It’s speculative to say this, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume that if they had all men on the pitch, they could have very well won both of those matches.

bournemouth had 10 men as well!

They have the players to cause us damage if we don't tighten up at the back.

Gonna be frustrating, cos we're better than them, but we still make too many mistakes.
