What is there to say? United are the home favourites, Wolves are the underdogs so United will win won’t they?
Or will they? Maybe it’s not quite that cut and dried. After their demolition of Burnley last Sunday, Wolves are sitting in 9th place in the table with 8 points and a zero goal difference. United, after making hard work of beating a determined Watford side are just one place higher in 8th, with 9 points and also with zero goal difference.

Before the season started, Wolves’ MD Laurie Dalrymple stated that Wolves were not coming into the Premier League to make up the numbers, but to compete. It is quite obvious now that Nuno Espirito Santo and his wolf pack firmly believe that too. After holding the reigning champions to a 1-1 draw, everyone started to notice the newcomers to the league. After Sunday’s televised performance, it’s to be hoped that Wolves are now being taken seriously, failure to do so could be costly for any team foolish enough to dismiss them as also rans.

For sure, Jose Mourinho will be taking Wolves seriously. He and fellow countryman, Nuno have a history of working together and know each other well. One thing that Jose will know is that Nuno’s teams keep going until the final whistle, so much so that when Kyle Reese spoke of the terminator he could have been speaking about Wolves:
“Listen. Understand. The Wolves team are out there. They can't be reasoned with. They can't be bargained with. They don't feel pity or remorse or fear...and they absolutely will not stop. Ever.

I’m expecting an open attacking game between two good ball playing sides. I also expect both De Gea and Patricio to have to earn their money. But I can’t help but feel the real battle will be in the midfield. Will Neves and Moutinho be a match for Pogba and Fellaini? I hope so!

Gem’s prediction: 1-1

Sanchez is a shadow of his former self sadly, the Arsenal effect

I remember Valencia ripping our 2012 excuse for a team to shreds, Old Fergie knew nothing about parking buses.

............................

He did it often.

Fergie always said he preferred a 1-0 win over a 4-3 win.

Sanchez has been a massive disappointment for Utd. Jose doesn’t seem to be getting the best out of him. At least he does now seem to finally be getting the best out of Pogba

Playing under José has caused the issue, Sanchez needs freedom to express his talent, José want to park the bus, he’d be better going to another club such as LFC where he’d be allowed to excel !

He did the same to Hazard in his last season at Chelsea.

Mourinho is just the Champions League's Tony Pulis.

Unfortunately this will tarnish his legacy for many Wolves fans. I hope he does well, but admittedly I cant help but wish it were for anyone but them...and maybe Villa.
