Anyone else losing a bit of interest?

Flash back to May, a 5-4 thriller in the glorious sunshine. The end of playing at Wembley and an excellent third place finish. Our next home match will be at the glorious new stadium and we all have our £1k+ season tickets

Poch calls for us to be brave, rumours of a war chest grow. Who will we be signing? Zaha? Kovacic? Could Bale return? Well, we will at least be strengthening with good quality players.

Well, well, well. Fast forward a few months. We are still at Wembley, we never got round to signing anyone and all our rivals (maybe bar Man U) have improved.

Liverpool have shown us exactly what we should have done. Invest and strengthen sensibly. It's the only way to improve. The lack of interest in improving our squad has filtered through to me to be honest. Levy has done a good job overall but we will never progress until ENIC sell up. I just shrugged my shoulders when the inter winner went in. The excitement is drying up.

My only hope at the moment is the stadium delay continues so I keep getting refunded on my season ticket

Honestly OP, I have supported the club for nearly 60 years, and you saying you are losing a bit of interest after a few bad results. Get behind the team.

Sandy do you still think we were right to not sign anyone?

It's not about the results, it's the malaise and lack of ambition. I still back us to come top 4 and get through to the last 16, but that is as good as it gets. We are only going to go backwards from here unless ENIC sell up.

Not signing any players had absolutely nothing to do with letting in two goals, one a worldy in the last five minutes. That is purely down to poor game management.

You can't divorce your football team like you can an underperforming woman so I wouldn't say I'm losing interest but I do despair at the unprofessional things that happen to us. When was the last time we were 1 down after 85mins in a cl game or against a top 6 rival and won the game? We can do it against a Swansea or West Ham but we just don't have the character to do it in a big match.

We have so many players out of form and lacking fight at the moment that its hard to imagine when we might see anything like the youthful dynamic side that we have been so proud of in recent years.

I said last year that there would be no war chest while you’re financing one of the most expensive football stadiums around. Unfortunately Levy has mugged off a few gullible spurs fans into snapping up memberships and season tickets.

The man is exceptionally clever - he knew there was no facking money and he knew the stadium wouldn’t be ready. Yet despite that he manages to get Poch to sign a new contract and keeps his best players while leading the fans up the garden path

This has at least a ring of truth but in some ways I would think that the bad start to the season may actually help you win something. You were never going to be good enough to win the CL or PL but surely now Poch will have to go for at least one of the cups seriously?

Levy has mugged a lot of people off, the delays on the stadium could have been announced a long time ago but it would have affected season ticket sales, however, whilst Sandy doesn't often talk sense, I do believe that he is right that fans stick with a club through thick and thin. I have put up with Pearce and his aversion to scoring goals and playing a keeper as striker (really) and now the good times have come back. They will come back to Spurs and they may start with a cup this season.
