Gazidis Good Luck buddy!

Since Ivan Gazidis joined Arsenal the value of the club has gone from £915m to £2,238m. Our revenue has risen from £246m to £531m a year. Our operating income was £20m a year it’s now £140m. We’ve decreased our Debt value from 53% down to just 12%. This isn’t failure by any means so good luck and thanks from this fan.

He did his job for us. We have spent big in the past 2-3 season (bar this summer) Not his fault Wenger spunked it on Mustafi, Xhaka, Perez and co.

Gazidis has been rather poor for us, had no balls to remove wenger, and consistently we had final years contract issues with the players

Plus you've won all those trophies and cemented your place amongst the Champions League elite.

Gazidis wasn't perfect, but he really helped improve Arsenal's marketing and financial side. On field was average at best, which is what fans will judge him on. Contract issues especially was a massive weak point that happened time and time again. But overall he's done a very, very good job in the past 10 years. Compare Arsenal to their competition in Chelsea/City/Liverpool in the past 10 years, off field and you really see how great a job he's done.

The goal is to get this club back competing again, and I think he's actually left at a good time.

Mustafi, Xhaka and Perez were not Wenger's signing, hence why Perez never got a snif at AFC.

Also, OP is not really accurate. Of all number listed, how many of them are due really to Gazidis and not us moving to stadium, TV revenues and all..?
When he joined, we were the 2nd best team in the UK in terms of revenues. Now of the top 6, only Spurs are performing worse than us.

Commercial revenue from last season.
Arsenal £91M
Chelsea £141M
Liverpool £136M
Man City £218M
United £276M
Spurs £73M

Misleading figures. It's like applauding people born in the 50/60s for buying a house at 40k in the 80s which is now worth 500k 30 years later. They didn't have to do anything, the market did the work - same thing has happened in football.

His legacy

- Paying average players too much money making them hard to sell
- The £40 + £1 deal for Suarez
- not improving the medical department
- Players getting always in the final year of their contract, then offering them silly money or allowing to leave on a free
- Not having the bottle to get rid of Wenger in a timely manner, or at least not extend his contract he only got rid of him by manoeuvring him out.
- Our commercial deals haven't been that wonderful either

The man is a politician, talks the talk but no action
People are just blinded with what he was suppose to do a long time ago.
Good riddance

We still continue to massively underperform on the commercial side of our operations. Gazidis did nothing impressive.
