Just for the record I never mentioned Liverpool or any other team in my article..
I merely asked the question but I will elaborate further based on what kind of form in Europe makes Manchester City who have lost their last 4 CL games, have a dismal home support in terms of atmousphere in Europe, have never been to a European Cup final or even close to it in living memory any kind of favourite to win the CL?

No you didn’t mention Liverpool, however they were used as an example to highlight your lack of logic. You implied that because of City’s lack of pedigree or lack of recent achievements in the CL, they shouldn’t be favourites to win it, right?
Current odds on winning the PL as per William Hill:
City 8/13
Liverpool 9/4
Chelsea 9/1
Tottenham 16/1
United 33/1
Arsenal 50/1
Only 4 of those teams have won the PL, those same 4 teams are the ones to have achieved something domestically (win a title or a cup) fairly recently. Which teams are they?

What I’m saying is that he should think before he posts. Anyone with the slightest bit of common sense and knowledge could quickly work out there is no direct correlation between recent achievements and bookies odds.

Not disagreeing with your logic, but equally not the Ops either (no matter how lacking in common sense!). To be fair if 98% of the users on this had a think before they posted, the forum would be a much better, if not slightly less amusing, place!

We were in the semi final in 2016. Is that not close to the final enough for you?

No it’s not try filling your stadium and creating an atmousphere then you might just go somewhere in Europe 🤣

And for the record I don’t believe Liverpool would have achieved anything near what we have in Europe
Over the years without the fans at Anfield...

They are favourites, becuase all the big betting companies in Europe if not the world are based in the UK and most money from the betting companies comes from UK money and most punters spunking their money away are English and deluded and still believe the EPL is the best league on the planet with the best teams on the planet and when the bookies get loads of bets placed on any team in any sport they shorten the odds to cover any potential losses. It's simple really.

They’ve got to a semi final more recently than Barca have though, so have you, so where should Barca be placed in the betting odds?
Curious to understand how your line of thought and theory works in regards to betting odds:
Most recent CL win?
Most recent runners up?
Most recent semi-finalists?
Accumulated performance over a set time period?
Historical CL wins?
